Charlease hatchett

Charlese’s journey took an unexpected turn when she faced the daunting diagnosis of non-Hodgkins large B-cell lymphoma.

Rather than succumbing to fear, she embarked on a remarkable healing journey, determined to be a living witness to God's miraculous power during chemotherapy. Her unwavering commitment to trust in God's healing and protection became a testament to the enduring strength of faith.

Originally hailing from Chesapeake, Virginia, Charlese’s life has been marked by relocations driven by her husband's career advancements as a Senior Finance Executive at Shell Oil Company. From Virginia, New Jersey, to Louisiana, England, and now calling Texas home in Spring, Charlease leads God Is Bigger Than Ministries with grace and dedication. In addition to her role as CEO, she serves alongside her husband, J. Harold Hatchett, III, in their business venture, The Hatchett Group, LLC.

Charlease wears many hats as a Founder and Managing Partner of the Connected Through Cancer Foundation, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to helping and serving those through their cancer journey. She is also the visionary behind the Combat Ready Cancer Ministry at Fallbrook Church in Houston, Texas.  A published co-author of two impactful anthology books, "Lift, Launch, Lead" and "The Unstoppable Black Woman," Charlease shares her journey and extends encouragement to individuals, inspiring them to become unstoppable in embracing their identity in Christ.  Charlease brings a profound passion for engaging hearts with God's Word to bring about lasting transformations in lives for His Kingdom.

Charlease and Harold are celebrating 36 years of marriage soon. They are proud parents of two adult children. With over 30 years of experience in ministry, Charlease is a dedicated teacher, trainer, and leader in the inductive study of God's Word. As a Precept Leader for over 20 years and a non-paid staff volunteer for Precept Ministries International, she served as an Area Team Leader in Houston. Her extensive contributions include over ten years of Bible Study Fellowship service as a Discussion Leader.

Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Longwood University and former certification as a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Charlease Hatchett's life and work embody a remarkable journey of faith, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to sharing the transformative power of God's Word with others.
