Charlease hatchett
Charlease’s journey took an unexpected turn when she faced the daunting diagnosis of non-Hodgkins large B-cell lymphoma.
Rather than succumbing to fear, she embarked on a remarkable healing journey, determined to be a living witness to God's miraculous power during chemotherapy. Her unwavering commitment to trust in God's healing and protection became a testament to the enduring strength of faith.
Originally from Chesapeake, Virginia, Charlease’s journey has been guided by faith and shaped through a series of relocations, following her husband’s career as a Senior Finance Executive at Shell Oil Company. Their travels have taken them from Virginia to New Jersey, Louisiana, England, and now to Texas, where they’ve made their home.
With grace, compassion, and a heart for service, Charlease leads God Is Bigger Than Ministries as CEO, and is the Founder & Managing Partner of the Connected Through Cancer Foundation—a nonprofit devoted to walking alongside individuals and families affected by cancer, offering hope and support through every season.
Charlease is also a strong advocate for a holistic approach to cancer support, believing in caring for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. This passion fuels her work in offering faith-based resources, health products, and tools designed to promote overall wellness and healing.
Together with her husband, J. Harold Hatchett III, she co-leads The Hatchett Group, LLC, where she brings creativity and care to life through embroidered apparel, personalized quilts, and custom business solutions tailored to uplift and serve others.
